Hands Free Requirement

FMCSA and PHMSA issued a final rule that restricts the use of hand-held mobile
telephone by interstate commercial motor vehicle drivers (CMV) and intrastate
hazmat drivers. The rule does not restrict or prohibit the use of hands-free
devices.
